Merry Christmas!!!
So it has taken me awhile to get this all done. We had a wonderful Christmas other then the fact we were all sick on Christmas Eve By Christmas morning we all seem fine except little Kenzie she held on to it a lot longer and is jus getting better so it has taken me awhile to get the pictures uploaded plus I can never seem to choose just a few by the time I am done I have way to many. Oh well I love posting pictures of my family and once again I am not in them because I am behind the camera.
We have so much to be grateful for. It was so nice to have Christmas and not have to go any where we just laid around in are pajamas ate candy watched Christmas movies and played the Wii fit (that I got for Christmas which I am so very excited about)
So enjoy the wonderful ton of pictures I posted. I have also posted are Christmas letter that I sent out.

We made some sugar cookies the girls had a lot of fun. At one point Kenzie looks at me and says mom I have frosted like four can I be done. I am like yes you do not have to ask. It just made me laugh then she was back for more after a little break.

Christmas Letter 2010
Dear family and friends,
So it is that time of year again which I have to say that I look forward to every year. I love this time of year. A lot has happened in our family this last year.
So it has been a year since Karl has graduated from school and we moved back to Boise. We moved back last year two days before Christmas. It took us awhile to find a job in Karl’s degree but I can say now that we have finally found one and it will keep us here in Boise for quit some time, which I am very excited for, we can finally say were we will be living for the next 10 to 20 years or more.
When we moved back Karl worked for H&R block during the tax season then he got a job at Citi (Collections Call Center) which was a job and it paid the bills. So we kept looking and finally Karl got a job working for the Idaho state tax commission. He had to take a lower level position to get in the door, after applying three times and not even getting an interview. Two months into the new job an opportunity for promotion opened up and I was promoted into the position I couldn’t even get an interview before. Karl was also able to work two of the BSU games for ESPN, he was on cloud nine, as most of you can imagine. In our new ward, well I guess not new so much, he is the scoutmaster, after two other short callings in scouts. He was Webelos leader then 11 year old leader. He loves being scoutmaster he loves working with the boys. He has been a very busy man working two jobs (still working at Citi part time) and being scoutmaster.
Let’s see Michelle is in 3rd grade now and she loves school when she is being challenged. I think she gets bored sometimes in school. Now she likes it more and more though because they have started doing times tables and she has been dying to start them. Michelle also got baptized this last year and that was an event more for me then her. I can not believe I have an eight year old. The baptism day fell on her birthday so she was able to get baptized on her birthday instead of waiting a whole month. I loved it I thought it was so exciting (probably because I was baptized on my birthday.) It was a wonderful day. So since she has been eight she got to be apart of Activity day girls and she loves it. I think she wishes that it was every week. Most of the time you will find Michelle reading, playing Wii, or playing with her sister. She loves to be around people and just having fun. She also likes to be were I am and involved in what I am doing (not so much jobs around the house).
Let s see for Mckenzie well she is four now almost five so she will start kindergarten this next fall. That is all she can talk about, “Mom when do I get to go to Michelle’s school?” (Of course I am so not ready for this). We are doing a little preschool with a bunch of the other moms from the ward. She always loves it when it is at our house she always asks me is it at our house soon and when I get the tote that they pass around from house to house she has the biggest grin on her face. She read her first scripture in primary and she was on cloud nine she thought it was the best thing ever, wait until she has to give a talk. McKenzie also keeps asking me when she gets to get baptized she thought it was so cool to see her sister get baptized. Most of the time you will find Kenzie doing what ever her sister wants to do; she likes to be just like her. She likes to read (or pretend she is reading), color, play with her kitchen, store and pretends she is a teacher. She also loves to be outside jumping on the trampoline. She also likes to be helping me in what ever I am doing if I am cleaning or doing laundry then she is right there.
Both Michelle and McKenzie are so very excited for Christmas this year. Kenzie would only go see the mall Santa, any other Santa we just could not get her to see, but she would get all excited about the mall Santa. At first she would not even get on his lap then she would not get off because she had quite the list or just telling him her life story, I am not sure which. Michelle has seen I think like three or four Santa’s and she has told them all the same thing that I am aware of. These two just make me laugh all of the time. They are always saying the darnest things.
Okay as for me nothing really new at all I am just hanging out and taking care of my family being very thankful I have them in my life. I also went through three callings in the ward I first was on the relief society board for enrichment then I was the enrichment leader and now I am 2nd counselor in the primary.
Well that is the Patton’s in a nut shell we have had a crazy year. A very blessed year though.
We love you all
