Visiting Santa

Saturday we went to get are family pictures redone since the last ones we had Kenzie was 1 ½ years old I thought it might be time so while we were there we went and saw Santa while we were there. We went with Jenny and Brian and there little boy Sam. I miss them so much I can not wait until they are living closer.

Kenzie went this time not with out being shy and she had to have someone go with her. Then at the end we could not get her off his lap she just kept on telling him what she wanted.

Thanksgiving 2010

Okay so this is the only pictures I got. I got to visiting and totally forgot to take more pictures like I had intended.

Lighting of the Tree at the State Capital

So the Monday before Thanksgiving we went to the state capital to see the big tree lighting. We have never done this before it was a lot of fun. I was glad we went.

Kenzie did not want to go see this Santa for some reason she said no I want to wait and go see the on at the mall so we could never get her to go see him. They got a free book out of it. Hyrum just by passed Santa and went straight for the tree

Karl’s Birthday

We celebrated Karl’s birthday this last month it was a wonderful day we went o dinner just are little family Then we were going to open presents that night and everything but on the way home Kenzie fell a sleep. So we opened them the next night. The following Sunday we had the family party and that was a blast cause we took everything to were my brother was staying so we all could hang out and have birthday together. (Which my brother is home now.)

I love this man so very much my life would be nothing with out him


I am pretty proud of the cake I made for him.

Oh how I love Fall!!!

Playing in the leaves the girls have wanted to do this forever. Rake up the leaves and jump in them. So we have a huge tree in the front yard and there are a ton of leaves in need of raking. So the girls took the rakes and went out to rake them up. Then Michelle came in and said can I take a picture of Kenzie because she had buried her in the leaves. So she did and this is what I got. Needless to say some did make it into the garbage can

I am sure there will be more to come because like I said there is a huge tree in the yard

Halloween 2010

Michelle was a vampire. Michelle is very big into posing

McKenzie was a Garden Fairy it was cute to hear her say it. She is going through a stage where she sometimes does not care to get her picture taken and this was one night that she did not want it done. The Ringlets are for my sister Melissa she told Kenzie she had a dream of her in ringlets for Halloween. Her hair does not hold them very well but I thought it turned out cute we might do them for her 4 year old pictures which we are behind on

On Saturday we took the girls to the Ward Trunk or Treat. Where we totally ran out of candy which never has happened to us before. Granted this is a bigger ward. So I took the girls around and when I cam e back Karl had shut the trunk I figured it would happen but was hoping it would not. We then took the girls around to a few houses on Saturday night.
Then on Halloween we went to my parent’s house and then gave in and let them go to a few houses in my parent’s neighborhood.

We also went and saw my Grandma she loved it.

Visiting dad’s work

We went to Karl’s work and they had a few games and the girls got candy and that is all that really matters.
We also visited my brother Friday night they had a little Tricker Treating there. The girls had a blast but I forgot to get pictures there

When Kids Get a Hold of the Camera

Kenzie decided to take some pictures with my camera I guess this is what I get for leaving it in her reach and eye site. She decided we had not documented her room very well

This is Kenzie’s little group of preschool friends. It was at my house the week of Halloween so I had them dress up so that we could have a little party

Red Ribbon Week

So for red Ribbon week they had days that they got to dress up or do something.
We forgot to get a picture of her on Monday and Friday though.

Monday was wear your favorite sweats day

Tuesday was crazy hair day. So I braided her hair the night before and we took them out the next day it was not as crazy as she was hoping for.

Wednesday was red day

Thursday was Career day or wear your favorite sports jersey. Can you guess what she is?

Friday was bright colored day.
She loved this she had so much fun

Craving Pumpkins

I bought a kit last year on sale after Halloween and we used it this year and it came with a book with different ideas so Karl wanted to give it a try. The girls kept picking the ones that were really hard so we showed them up at the corned that there was little pumpkins and the ones that are colored in means the harder they get so we told them they had to stick to the ones that only had one or two colored in for daddies first year. They were bummed and had much faith in there dad that he could do the challenging ones but not only were they hard we did not start this until 6:00 at night. So after a lot of talking and stuff the reluctantly choose these.

Trunk or Treat at Uncle Nick’s School.

The school nick is attending online has a facility here and they had a Trunk or Treat one night and my sister Julia was in town so we all went with Melissa so that are kids could get a little practice before the big night.
